Barcelona Shuttle Bus T3 PortBus
Many travellers start or end their cruise in Barcelona, or are enjoying a stop here during their cruise.
Our customers often ask us how to go from the cruise ships port to downtown.

The cruise terminal is relatively close to the city centre, but we do not recommend walking to the city, as you will have to walk between 30 and 40 minutes in an industrial environment, on a bridge and a road without shade or protection against the sun, so it could be very hot in summer.

Some cruise lines provide passengers with shuttles to get to the city centre, if not, you have several solutions to get from the cruise port to downtown.

By taxi

At the exit of your ship, you will see a taxi stop with yellow and black taxis, Barcelona official taxis. The port staff is there to help you with luggage or to request an address to the driver.
If you are planning to walk for a few hours in the city centre, you can ask the driver to drop you near the Columbus statue at the beginning of the ramblas. From here you can visit the Gothic Quarter (the old city) on foot or take the subway to another neighbourhood.

The trip costs approx. €10. Rates are displayed on the rear windows of taxis. In addition to the price marked by the taximeter there is a €4.50 surcharge for the port exit. From 2020 there is no more surcharges for luggage.

Returning to port is easy, many taxis roam the city, you only have to stop one that has a green light on it, which indicates that it is free. A €4.50 supplement for returning to the port is added to the price indicated by the taximeter.

By bus: Cruise Bus

The Cruise Bus goes through the 5 cruise terminals of the Port of Barcelona (Terminal A, B, C, D and E) and stop at the Barcelona dock, next to the World Trade Center, a few minutes’ walk from the start of the ramblas.
The frequency of passage varies daily depending on the volume of cruise passengers in Barcelona and is always adapted to their needs.

Tickets cost €3 one way and €4.50 return. You can buy the tickets from the driver and pay with card or cash (€50 or or higher bills could possibly not be accepted).
You can also buy tickets in advance on the Cruise Bus website.
